To International Doctors
Our hospital is located in a green area of Saitama Prefecture, and it takes about 2 and a half hours from Haneda Airport, requiring a change of train; thus, it is not at a short distance.
However, the hospital is excellent in fulfilling its original purpose: to observe and study endoscopic diagnosis/treatment.
It should be particularly noted that it is a facility performing one of the highest numbers of endoscopic procedures (represented by ERCP, EUS and ESD) for the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic/bile duct and gastrointestinal diseases in Japan, and, therefore, it will provide you with the opportunity to observe technically high-level endoscopic diagnosis/treatment every day.
There are few Japanese facilities that enable you to observe specialized endoscopic diagnosis/treatment in all areas within a short period.
The persons responsible for supervising endoscopy in the hospital have performed a large number of live demonstrations and hands-on guidance both inside and outside Japan. To learn their manual procedures, many international doctors, such as those from Taiwan and Brazil, participate in our training. The period of training is 1 to 4 weeks on average. For participants of short- and long-term training, accommodation within the hospital (paid) and an inexpensive dormitory belonging to Saitama University and located at a distance of 5 minutes by bus, respectively, are available.
